Very soon, we will be announcing the complete two-hour lineup for “Saints & Patriots” on Saturday, July 25, a patriotic outdoor celebration of America 250 and Connecticut’s rich Christian heritage. It will be our second event in the field behind the station (last year was the final, 30th anniversary celebration of Jacob’s Well Christian Coffeehouse) as we tiptoe toward transforming this field into the WIHS Amphitheater. You have to walk before you run! Everything in God’s time.
The Scriptures say much about vision. Without it, the people perish. Write the vision down so that those who read it can be inspired and run with it. To help to cast the vision for the future WIHS Amphitheater, here’s the latest rendering by Stevens Land Architecture in Simsbury. They have been enthusiastic supporters of this vision! The day is coming when this Amphitheater will be used for major Christian concerts, praise and worship, festivals, evangelistic outreaches and other events that exalt Christ, bring the Body of Christ across Connecticut together and declare the Good News!
