In his pamphlet&nbsp;<em>Your 5 Duties as a Christian Citizen<\/em>, he outlined how faith and civic responsibility go hand in hand. He wrote that Christians are called to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Pray for their leaders<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be informed on issues<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Vote wisely and responsibly<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Speak out on moral and spiritual matters<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Run for office or support godly candidates<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bright saw voting not just as a right, but as a&nbsp;<em>spiritual responsibility<\/em>. He believed that when Christians neglect their civic duties, they risk allowing ungodly influences to shape society. He echoed the sentiment of Charles Finney, who said, \u201cPolitics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to the country as part of their duty to God\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bright\u2019s message was clear:&nbsp;<em>faith isn\u2019t passive<\/em>. It calls us to action\u2014not only in evangelism and discipleship, but also in shaping the moral compass of our communities through the ballot box.
