Praise the Lord! Things are progressing well for the “test of concept” outdoor concert in the future WIHS Ampitheater–our 7.5-acre sloped field at 1933 South Main Street (Route 17).
This event is the end of an era (30 years of Jacob’s Well Christian Coffeehouse) and God willing, the beginning of a new era–future concerts, festivals and evangelistic outreaches on the WIHS grounds.
There are too many moving parts to have a rain date BUT VOX Church, located 2.5 miles north of WIHS at 653 South Main Street, has graciously agreed to serve as our INDOOR CONTINGENCY SITE on July 19 if it’s soggy and raining, if the City of Middletown won’t deliver the portable Showmobile, and if we need to scramble inside. If we must move the event inside with short notice, we will make on-air announcements, posts on our website, social media and e-news. We’ll also have lawn signs on our property and volunteers directing participants to VOX Church.
Of course, we are praying for a clear day with no rain! That is our heart’s desire. Please pray with us, mark your calendars and join us. God willing, it’s going to be a great day with inspirational music and testimonies. The Gospel will be preached, and we’re trusting the Lord to save souls!
